Celebrating the four seaons, this exhibition demonstrated the broad range of printmaking techniques as it journeyed across the year.

We Can & We Will_0.jpg

We Can and We Will:  monotype print, 21cm x 29cm

I was working on the exhibition during the terrible fires of early February, and the spirit of the people in those ravaged communities inspired us all I think.  Even the urban dwellers are acutely aware of the threat and reality of fire that comes to us every summer.

Wallagaraugh Reflections, Nov 2007

This is the second exhibition where I have collaborated with realist artist Sue Robertson.

Eastern Water Dragon and Water Boatmen

Ink drawings contained in larger acrylic on canvas paintings.

I wanted the viewer to consider the tiny and quiet creatures which inhabit the Wallargaraugh River.  Many are not noticed and yet they depend on these waters for their very life.

These are examples of my printmaking pieces in a shared exhibition with Lujendi.  Our work recalled a wonderful retreat to Inverloch earlier in the year.

My prints reveal my fascination with the Dinosaur Dreaming works we discovered at the Caves.

linocuts with embossed collage and /or hand colouring, each unique print 30cm x 30cm

Toomuc Valley Mosaic #1

collage using a variety of printmaking techniques including linocut, collagraph & foil printing on rusted paper, 40cm x 40cm

This exhibition at Libran Dogma Gallery explored the beauty and history of Toomuc Valley and its sentinel Mount Paradise.  We must remember that so often in the past, Paradise named was Paradise lost.

A Fragile Balance

acrylic on canvas, 50cm x 65cm

If left unchecked, the Crown of Thorns starfish can tip the dynamic and fragile balance between builder and destroyer.   Coral reefs can be left lifeless  and colourless.

Mount Paradise and its beautiful Toomuc Valley is our coral reef.  And what is the quarry?
